The basic truth about life is this: when you go the extra mile there’s always someone, somewhere, who takes notice. The challenge is that it may appear that no one sees the extra effort you’re putting in, and there's always the temptation to give up in frustration because going the extra mile is always a painful exercise.
I'll readily admit, it’s not easy to stand your ground and keep doing your best — especially when it seems nobody is appreciating your efforts. However, that's the hallmark of diligent people.
Friend, the only way to distinguish yourself from the people who give up is to stick to what you're doing. With time, you’ll reap the rewards of those who give their best — and in turn achieve the results which are available only to those who have the tenacity to hang on when the going gets tough.
Always remember that you’ve got greatness in you — and that someone (whether you choose to believe it or not) is always taking notice of your diligence.
One way to access the rate of your diligence is to track your daily successes along the way. Doing so will allow you see first-hand that you’re making a difference even if it seems insignificant.
Always remember, there's reward for the diligent person and giving up is not a valid option for those who have made up their minds to succeed.
