Entrepreneurship is the Answer
The nations that ignored the power of entrepreneurship are reaping the bitter fruits of their negligence. Unfortunately, Nigeria is on that train, heading toward depression.
Being an entrepreneur has become the wisest thing to do in a declining global economy. There's no longer jobs for new graduates. The best option is developing oneself to become an entrepreneur.
The whole world now see the wisdom in what acclaimed entrepreneurs such as Mark Zuckerberg, Richard Branson, Ellon Musk, Aliko Dangote, Strive Masiyiwa, and Steve Jobs, are doing to save the economy of nations. Today, choosing the path of entrepreneurship is the answer to the global recession.
The following are the motivating factors that make people choose to become entrepreneurs:
1. Entrpreneurs Pursue their Passion
The number one reason people want to become entrepreneurs is to have the opportunity to make a living doing something they actually enjoy. As technology advances, and the cost of starting up a business decreases, it’s now no longer risky as it used to be setting off in pursuit of your dreams.
Although becoming an entrepreneur still has its own unique set of risks, it’s no longer dangerously overwhelming if your idea fails. You can still start over again no matter how many times you get your finger but if you have the courage and tenacity.
2. Entrepreneurs Change the World in Positive dimension
Entrepreneurs think ahead into the future. They’re able to see a need and a use of their skills to create solutions to problems in the world, whether it’s a social, technical or retail need.
While industries are constantly changing, shrinking or growing, there’s room for providing services or products that can help specific industries thrive.
For example, just think about where technology, and the world would have been today if Steve Jobs hadn’t invented Apple. Entrepreneurs in their various capacities are solution providers.
3. Entrepreneurs Enhances Economic Growth
The vast majority of people now see entrepreneurs as a stimulator for economic growth. With each new business started by an entrepreneur, the economy sees more jobs and more money. Entrepreneurs even help aid governments through taxes; helping them provide basic services such as healthcare, transportation, education and more to their country. Entrepreneurship is the answer!
4. Entrepreneurs Take Full Responsibility of their Destinies
The ultimate dream of becoming an entrepreneur is to be his own boss.
Being an entrepreneur is more than just being your own boss. It’s about having control over your life and destiny. Entrepreneurship makes one flexible; allowing you to create your own work schedule and to work from wherever you want.
This flexibility of work schedule gives one the leverage to live a balanced lifestyle.
