Our professional skills do not give us immunity against business failure. I once operated a company that did services in the line of fumigation, cleaning and refuse disposal. In the course of running the company, I became a contractor to the Apex Bank to clean and fumigate their estate in Port Harcourt. That experience revealed to me how bankers dread auditors.
Auditors specialize in looking into the books of companies and organisations. They do this to ensure that every transaction is done by the best financial practices. In fact, the health of a business is solely depended on its cash flow. Businesses die when their cash flow is negative and auditors are trained to detect that with faultless precision.
However, the question is: Does being an auditor or chattered accountant make one a good entrepreneur? The answer is NO! I have a friend who is an auditor. In fact, he doubles as a chattered accountant and a chattered stockbroker. He has another feather to his hat: he's an MBA holder. His downside: he has operated three different businesses and they all failed, leaving him with huge debt.
In School of Professional Mentoring & Capacity Building(SPMCB) we train chattered accounts and lawyers to become better businesspeople. At present, we have trained three chattered accountants and they're doing very well in the area of manufacturing. Why don't you talk to us and move your business to the next level. Remember, being chattered is not a guarantee.
To your ultimate success,
The Mentoring & Capacity Building Team
